I got your e-mail contact info from your booth at Lansdale day and wanted to reach out about another event you might be interested in.
I’m Master Harry Pfister, with Villari’s Karate in Montgomeryville, PA. We do an annual event that benefits Manna on Main St with ALL PROCEEDS going to the charity! We have been running this event since 2008 and have raised over $140,000 total ($18,000 from the 2022 event!) and over 3,000 lbs of food have been donated.
This year’s event is planned for Saturday, 10/7 from 12-3, and typically we have about 150-200 students participating plus their families in attendance, along with lots of drive by and walk by traffic. This event usually ends up having around 500+ people in attendance throughout the event.
Since this is an event for our organization and a “smaller” event, you’re sure to gather more focused interest in your booth and generate sales or interest from our members who appreciate those who are a part of our event.
We will have limited spots available, as we are in a parking lot and will need space for silent auction items, possibly a food truck, mini golf, DJ and other activities. We will only allow one of each specific type of business on a first come, first served basis.
HOW THE EVENT WORKS:
Students raise donations leading up to the event.
Before 12:00 on the day of the event, we set up the area and students start arriving. Raffle tickets are sold for the silent auction items. Mini golf and other activities allow the guests in attendance to roam through the space to visit the vendors and take part in different activities.
Around 1:30 we line the students up to perform 500 kicks total (to “earn” their donations) At this time, we start closing up the silent auction items and select winners.
At around 2:30 we have a Karate Demo Team performance, then we make the BIG CHECK presentation to representatives from Manna, and then I perform a brick breaking exhibition for the crowd to wrap up the event by around 3:00 PM.
Prime time for Vendors is 12-2, but you’re welcome to keep your booth open longer if you’d like!
We will be in the parking lot near the corner of Rt 202 and Montgomery Glen Rd, right next to Water Tower Cinema with LOTS of drive by traffic. Public is welcome and signs and other attention grabbers will be out to draw passers-by in to our event!
For this year’s event, we are asking for a vendor fee donation of $50, but depending on demand and spaces available, we may go higher in future years. This fee will be a part of the overall donation to Manna.
There are many ways to be a part of the event, if you’re interested.
- Have a vendor table (10’x10′ space, canopy suggested but not required) for $50.
- Giving us a GIFT CERTIFICATE for your business or someplace else. (Donated by: your business) Any amount is appreciated, but smaller amounts may be groups in with other donations to make for a better basket value.
- Making an item or a basket donation for the Raffle items, (any value is appreciated!) With items from your business, or other items, we’ll put “DONATED BY:” to allow for bidders to see that your business made a donation to the event.
- Donating free giveaways for the participants (your business info on it or not!) Pens, stickers, bags, etc.
- Food or monetary donation in any amount if appreciated.
If you have FB or Instagram, we’ll share and tag you. We ask that you do the same for us leading up to the event to help get the word out!

This event is KID FRIENDLY and we’d appreciate it if you keep your booth safe and appropriate for our students and guests. If you’re not sure, please ask!

p.s. This date is RAIN OR SHINE. We have approximately 2000 sf open indoor space if we need to move indoors due to weather. If this is the case, we’ll have vendor tables and other activities going until we need the space for the kicking. We’ll adjust accordingly as needed.
