12:00: The event begins!
- DJ Sean Bailey will be playing music throughout the event!
- Raffle baskets on display. LOTS of great baskets to check out. This years big ticket items? Oculus VR Headset! ($400 value) BIG Phillies Package (Over $600 value!)

We had a basket last year that was VERY popular, and we will probably be doing it again. It was a basket FULL of gift cards and gift certificates to various local businesses. It was called the “PAY IT FORWARD” basket and if you won, you had to share a few of the gift cards with someone else of your choice! You win, and others win too!

- Decorate your own NINJA COOKIE hosted by Shannon Wieloch & family.
- Fire Truck, and firefighters from our local Fire Department.
- Bake Sale with many items made and donated by our families.
- Kid and Family Friendly activities, run by our fantastic instructors and assistants.
- Karate Power Level contests. (Prizes too!)

- VR HEADSET EXPERIENCE! Two of our instructors, Dave Speer & Jon Pfister, will be setting up their own VR HEADSET for our guests to try! For $5, you get to play one game of BEAT SABER, a game where you slash the beats of adrenaline-pumping music as they fly towards you, surrounded by a futuristic world (approximately 5 minutes.) Multiple time slots may be purchased in advance. Time slots will run every 5 minutes from 12:00-1:30. Once all slots are full, no more slots will be sold. e-mail us to find out more info or to purchase a time slot!
- Martial Arts-Artwork experience, hosted by Master Carl Cellini who is also a locally renowned artist in his own right!
- MINI GOLF, 9 holes for a $5 donation!
- You’ll get to see the results of the “PICK MASTER PFISTERS HAIR COLOR” drawing. Entries are $5 each and will be sold through 9/30/23. One entry will be drawn and the winner contacted for their best design! So far, Master Pfister has had the “Bumble Bee” look in 2020, the “Unicorn and Rainbow” in 2021, and “The Nightmare before Christmas” in 2022. What will it be this year? Around 1:30, all participants will start lining up to perform the 500 kicks they promised.
- Find out more about what we do to help Manna, and what Manna does for our community from a Manna rep!
- When the kicking is completed, the crowd will be entertained with Martial Arts demonstrations by our schools Demo Teams.
- After all funds are collected and calculated, we do the BIG CHECK PRESENTATION to a representative from Manna on Main St.
- Master Pfister finishes the event with a flourish as he attempts to break a total of 50 concrete blocks with his hands, elbows and feet. He holds a world record of 50 bricks broken in less than 22 seconds! The video was even shown on ESPN and SPIKE TV! A tradition has developed since 2008 where those in attendance grab a part of a broken brick and have Master Pfister sign it as a souvenir! (There will be PLENTY of broken bricks for all!)
This event has been going since 2008 and has raised $143,000 as of 2022 and over 3,150 lbs of food for charity in those years, including a record of $18,000 in 2022!

WHO: Students of Villari’s Self Defense Centers in Montgomeryville, Ambler and Harleysville participate. Non students are welcome to participate if they’d like!
WHY: Manna on Main Street (mannaonmain.org) relies heavily on donations to help those in need. They help in many ways, including a soup kitchen, food pantry, job training and placement, housing and financial aid. We help them so they can help our neighbors!

On September 25, 2010, Villari’s Martial Arts Centers of Chalfont, PA hosted the 4th annual Kick-a-Thon, a fundraiser for Manna on Mainstreet in Lansdale, PA. At the event students performed 500 kicks after collecting pledges for about a month. The event also included a silent auction, face painting, a fire truck, motorcycles, hot rods, a magician, a DJ, and more. The even culminated with a performance by the Demo Team and a 50 brick breaking demonstration by Master Harry Pfister, owner of the Chalfont studio. Altogether, they raised $9000 dollars for Manna on Mainstreet, the highest amount raised so far in the 4 year history of the kick-a-thon. Congrats to all who participated.

At the event students performed 500 kicks after collecting pledges for about a month. The event also included a silent auction, face painting, a fire truck, hot rods, a magician, a DJ, Frozen Cow Yogurt, and more. The event culminated with a performance by the Demo Team and a 50 brick breaking demonstration by Master Harry Pfister, owner of the Chalfont studio. Altogether, they raised a new record of $11,000 dollars for Manna on Mainstreet, a soup kitchen and food cupboard that serves people in need living in the North Penn Area. Congratulations to everyone who participated!
