Villari’s Self Defense Centers of PA
What we do:
Our annual event raises money and food for a local food pantry (Manna on Main St in Lansdale. Mannaonmain.org)
Students raise money by asking friends and family for donations.
Our staff raises money by asking local businesses for donations for the raffles or as incentive prizes.
Our instructors do self defense classes and all donations collected go to the event.
What YOU can do:
Monetary donation: Donations of any amount are appreciated.
- Checks can be made payable to Villari’s with MANNA DONATION in the memo.
- Venmo to @VillarisPa. Include your name (business name) and MANNA DONATION in the comments. If you are donating to support a specific student, include the name of the student as well.
- Credit card payments can be accepted, contact us for details. VillarisPa@aol.com
Gift Card donation: Gift cards in any amount can help in different ways. We can include them with a themed raffle basket, or use them as prizes for students who raise the most, etc.
Raffle item donation: On the day of the event we have a ton of raffle items for guests to try to win. This can be a great way to promote your business or even just get rid of something you have that has value, just not to you! lol. New items only please.
What YOU get out of it:
Students earn various prizes with different amounts raised, and businesses have a similar tiered system.
SILVER LEVEL:
If you donate $100 or more in monetary or product value:
Appreciation sign at the event announcing your support of the event to over 150-300 families.
GOLD LEVEL:
If you donate $250 or more in monetary or product value:
Appreciation sign at the event announcing your support of the event to over 150-300 families.
Sign is displayed in our our front window, on our info video in the lobby and front window for at least 1 week after the event. Traffic through and past our location gets you even more attention!
PLATINUM LEVEL:
If you donate $500 or more in monetary or product value:
Appreciation sign at the event announcing your support of the event to over 150-300 families.
Sign is displayed in our our front window, on our info video in the lobby and front window for at least 1 week after the event. Traffic through and past our location gets you even more attention!
Your website is given multiple posts on our own social media leading up to the event. Links to your home page or other information can help drive our loyal customers to become yours as well!
We appreciate anyone who donates to this event. Since 2008, we have raised over $180,000 and 6,000 lbs of food for local charities.

WHEN: Saturday, 9/27/25 from 12:00-3:00. Try to be early to get the most out of the event!
WHO: Students of Villari’s Self Defense Centers in Montgomeryville, Ambler and Harleysville participate. Non students are welcome to participate if they’d like!
WHY: Manna on Main Street (mannaonmain.org) relies heavily on donations to help those in need. They help in many ways, including a soup kitchen, food pantry, job training and placement, housing and financial aid. We help them so they can help our neighbors! Other charities are also supported and receive donations from this event.

On September 25, 2010, Villari’s Martial Arts Centers of Chalfont, PA hosted the 4th annual Kick-a-Thon, a fundraiser for Manna on Mainstreet in Lansdale, PA. At the event students performed 500 kicks after collecting pledges for about a month. The event also included a silent auction, face painting, a fire truck, motorcycles, hot rods, a magician, a DJ, and more. The even culminated with a performance by the Demo Team and a 50 brick breaking demonstration by Master Harry Pfister, owner of the Chalfont studio. Altogether, they raised $9000 dollars for Manna on Mainstreet, the highest amount raised so far in the 4 year history of the kick-a-thon. Congrats to all who participated.
On September 28, 2013, Villari’s Martial Arts Centers of Chalfont, PA hosted the Kick-a-Thon, a fundraiser for Manna on Mainstreet in Lansdale, PA. At the event students performed 500 kicks after collecting pledges for about a month. The event culminated with a performance by the Demo Team and a 50 brick breaking demonstration by Master Harry Pfister, owner of the Chalfont studio. Altogether, they raised a new record of $11,000 dollars for Manna on Mainstreet, a soup kitchen and food cupboard that serves people in need living in the North Penn Area. Congratulations to everyone who participated!
